ADULT SWIM AT SANTOS
Adult Swim first teamed up with the acclaimed Santos Party House earlier this year and treated fans to a live show hosted by Delocated! star and creator Jon Glaser, with music from Andrew W.K. and Cheeseburger. The response was huge, so Adult Swim and Santos Party House teamed up again to give fans more of what they want all summer long.
My photographs from the first installment of the series were aired on Comedy Central in a "bump" created by Adult Swim to highlight the energy and success of the first show and to promote the next show in the series.
Adult Swim, launched in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.’s network offering original and acquired animated and live-action series for young adults. Airing nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (ET, PT), Adult Swim shares channel space with Cartoon Network, home to the best in original, acquired and classic entertainment for youth and families, and is seen in 97 million U.S. homes.
Santos Party House opened its doors in June of 2008. It is a two-level, 8000 sq. foot music venue, centrally located in downtown New York City, straddling Chinatown and Tribeca. Blurring the lines between music and art culture, the venue is designed to function as a concert hall, dance club, and lounge. The hands-on involvement of creators and owners, such as Andrew W.K., Spencery Sweeney, Larry Golden and Ron Castellano make almost anything possible. Santos has been built from the ground up to make life as fun as possible.
